Many of my paintings are influenced by surrealism and the concepts of the inner world. The woman in this piece is carrying the heavy burden of her regrets and memories along with her, they impede her from progressing through life and slow her down. Although the skies are stormy, she is walking toward the clear blue sky and hopefully a better future.
